I. HISTORY

​

Cabinet EL was founded in 2013 on the initiative of Maître Justin LUBO KASONGO Lawyer at the Bar at the Court of Appeal of Kinshasa / Gombe, in the city of Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

​

The establishment of an adequate professional framework allowing to exercise the profession of Lawyer in its broadest expression in the strict respect of the law as well as the principles of the Christian life, is the vision at the base of the creation of Cabinet EL.

II.MISSIONS

​

Cabinet EL has experienced lawyers, and is structured in departments whose synergy is systematic.

​

Each department exercises a specialized activity but it is able to intervene in a transversal way with the other departments of the Firm, in order to guarantee the coverage of all the legal issues of the files.

​

The development of the scope of activities continues with the desire to further expand the teams of Cabinet EL to fully and effectively support clients.

In general and as part of its mission, Cabinet EL:

​

- Make every effort, in each case, to reconcile the parties in conflict in order to obtain an amicable settlement, if necessary sanctioned by a settlement;

​

-Give clients who want it opinions or legal positions on well-defined issues;

​

-Drafts legal acts under private signature such as contracts of lease, sale, mandate, etc. ;

​

-Prepares various authentic deeds, such as company deeds, donations, real estate sales, etc. ;

​

​

-Prepares judicial documents such as subpoenas, direct citations, judicial summons, iterative-commandments, etc. ;

-Represents or assists clients before the courts or outside the courts to take steps to obtain various administrative acts in their favor;

​

-Performed all other tasks related to the legal profession;

​

-Actively participates in activities consistent with the firm's vision.

III.LOCATION.

​

Cabinet EL is currently located in the only city of Kinshasa, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, on the Boulevard du 30 Juin, Immeuble SANASH, local 4E, commune of Gombe.

​

It intends to establish itself very soon in other cities of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

IV. AREA OF INTERVENTION.

​

Cabinet EL aims to represent and assist its clients in the following areas:

• business law,

• electricity law,

• The structuring of infrastructure projects,

• Debt collection,

• Taxation and customs law, 

• The mines,

• New Communication and Information Technologies,

• The insurance.  

However, the various skills, in Law, of the lawyers of Cabinet EL make it possible to deal effectively with the affairs of both individual clients, companies (public or private) or groups in the various legal matters.
